The storytelling session conducted on Saturday,7th of March was an amazing combination of storytelling and fun activities put together by The Reading Hat and The Playdough based Co. It evolved narrating a story to an Art through articulate communication, props and right modulations.
The famous story of “Goldilocks and the three bears” was narrated and acted out by Naureen from The Reading Hat using an exclusive cottage from “Storytime Toys”.
Storytelling was followed by some fun activities to improve the fine motor skills (coordinated small muscle movements in the hands, wrists, and fingers). These included crafting activities such as making bear faces by Naureen and fun and play with non-toxic play dough by ” The Playbased Co”.Goldilocks’ hair trimming and cutting bears using bear-shaped cutters were the exciting activities conducted using playdough.
The cute bear-themed goody bags by Amna’s art n craft” and the lip-smacking cupcakes by Munching Joy definitely proved to be a cherry on top to our little listeners.
All in all, an interactive storytelling session that will always remain afresh in the memories of its audience.
