Sand Art Fun
GUG – Season 2 – Session 5
Conducted on September 30 , 2017
Elite Club Jeddah held its recent GUG session, based on the very interesting and unique theme, ‘Sand Art’. The first activity in which we engaged our enthusiastic participants was filling sand bottles with colored sand. The young minds used their creative imagination to come up with different patterns, and felt a sense of achievement and pride upon their completion.
The second activity comprised coloring a star with sand. Children were divided into two groups; the first group made an envelope out of the colored star, while the second group made bookmarks with it. Games, Happy Meal, and face painting by McDonalds concluded our extremely ‘happening’ session.
This well-organized and well-presented GUG Session was brought together with the assistance of our team members, Manal and Samreen. Photography was carried out by Manal. Also, thanks to our new volunteer, Fatima Shaikh. Last but not the least, a special shout out to Cake Fantasy for the yummylicious ‘marshmallow dessert’.
